Shellfish – a local marvel

Our fresh shellfish experience delivered to your door.

Clams, oysters, or geoduck. What’s your pick?

Have you tried shucking oysters at Hood Canal? Or have you tried Taylor Shellfish at nearby Melrose Place? This isn’t for everyone, but many northwest natives go for the freshness and salty taste that awaits their palate. Crosscut has a fun article about “The raw truth about Washinton oysters.”

It’s an acquired taste, but we loved going onto the beach with our shucker and sauce enjoying the oyster treats while remembering to leave the shells behind so the young ones could grow.
