A Stroll Downtown for a Movie, Food, and More

A resident described this recent fun afternoon adventure.  After walking down 8th Avenue and down through the Convention Center they ambled over to Pacific Place at 6th and Pine and went to see Tom Hanks portraying the lawyer turned hero in The Bridge of Spies – giving it very good reviews.  Then while still on the 4th floor they strolled over to Thai Ginger and had great fresh rolls and crispy noodles.  After window shopping through multiple stores and avoiding the bridge over to Nordstrom’s, they discovered the Handmade Showroom on the second floor (see www.TheHandmadeShowroom.com).  Currently it’s open Friday-Sunday but will be oven daily starting on November 1st.  They found it a great stop for local handmade goods from jewelry, to cards, to jams – just in time for the holidays.

One of the fabulous things about living at Skyline is its proximity to films(try the Egyptian, another neighborhood theater), theater, museums, shopping, the symphony and restaurants. Whoops, forgot Town Hall. Probably forgot more. Great, great location.
